For the love of one’s car

Here’s an incredible way to spend time, space and money for your car. This astounding architectural feat of glass and metal, commissioned by a Ferrari owner living in Brentwood California, has been the subject of complaints by the said Ferrari owner’s neighbors. To quote them neighbors, it “could degrade hillside neighborhoods throughout the city” by setting a precedent.

Boo! You guys are just total killjoys. The indoor garage is connected to the street by means of a ten-foot long, 15-foot high retractable bridge that uses a hydraulic ramp. If you ask us, it’s all a show of a man’s love for his car. Nothing more, nothing less. But since the neighbors put it that way, the Ferrari owner has no choice but to tear it down.

Our heartfelt sympathies go to Holger Schubert, said Ferrari owner. Maybe you can just buy another house that doesn’t need a bridged garage and is a few blocks away from your whiny neighbors.
