One of my favorite supercars, the Bugatti Veyron, has just been given a new persona, not by Bugatti, but by a tuning company named Mansory Corporation. Its new alter-ego goes by the name of LINEA Vincero, being named after the line of perhaps the most famous tenor from Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot. “Vincerò! Vincerò! – I will win,” as the line goes. It’s been reported that the theme of this opera is a tale of 1,001 days in Persia. Does that figure ring a bell? Well, the stock Veyron has a stable of 1,001 horses under its hood. See the connection? Here’s another one. The founder and reigning CEO of Mansory, Kourosh Mansory, comes from Persia. No wonder he gave this tuned version such a name. Talk about stamping your identity on your creations.
The Vincero has blessed with a new hood, apparently shorter, a new front apron and redesigned wings. It also has been given daytime-running LED lights and a large “V” emblem on its front grille. Its new side-skirts remind me of the new Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce – straight-edged – which is more suited to the Vincero’s awesome powerplant. Looking at the large air outlets and new rear diffuser, you can’t help but imagine being sucked by its slipstream at top speed.
Even Bruce Wayne would fancy this car as a daytime-running version of his jet-powered Bat Mobile. Its new carbon-fiber body panels are extremely light and strong that you’ll feel like the billionaire vigilante himself driving around Gotham’s night life. The Vincero’s engine is nothing short of being a real challenge to the Bat Mobile. It now has 1,109 horses and 1,310 Nm of ground-breaking torque.
But the catch is, you won’t be able to knock on Mansory’s door and sign a check for a Vincero. They only sell the modified parts. You got to have a stock Veyron in your garage to be able to build the Vincero. Well, it kind of adds challenge and excitement, don’t you think?
Bruce Wayne wanna be’s are going to love the experience. Now you can put secret orders for the Vincero parts and have them sent to your very own Bat Cave for installation. Just make sure Alfred’s there to help you. It’s cosplay to the extreme for the orphaned billionaires out there. Bad guys and supermodels watch out, the Dark Knight’s riding out in the all-new LINEA Vincero.
